Weather Update as of 3:30pm - 08 June

LPA ALERT
The Low Pressure Area (LPA) being monitored between Southern Tagalog and Marinduque has regained some consolidation and has began showing signs of development. It was located over Tayabas Bay, some 30 km ENE of Calapan, Oriental Mindoro or 60 km ESE of Batangas. This disturbance shall bring rains in the Western sections of Visayas and Palawan including Metro Manila and the rest of Southern and Central Luzon. Improved weather condition shall resume in Mindanao with scattered rains in the North Western sections. Few Forecast Models have indicated development for this system and this is forecast to move NW into the South China Sea.

We shall be keeping an eye on this LPA for possible development as it continues to affect our country.
