The weak Low Pressure Area being monitored has accelerated WNW now moving 31 kph and is about to exit to the South China Sea today. It is now over the vicinity between Southern Tagalog and Occidental Mindoro. This disturbance shall bring rains in the Western sections of Visayas and Palawan including Metro Manila and the rest of Southern Luzon. Improved weather condition shall resume in Mindanao. Forecast models do not show any further development on this weak system.
The Pacific Ocean has high heat content (Sea Surface Temperature), thus, formation of tropical disturbances is possible during this season.
