A weak Low Pressure Area has persisted some 10 km ESE of Cagwait, in the province of Surigao del Sur in Mindanao. This disturbance shall bring rains in Mindanao becoming prevalent over Visayas and Luzon as the LPA moves WNW. Forecast models do not show any further development on this weak system.
We shall, however, keep an eye on this LPA as it moves inland. Generally, we'll have fair to rainy weather in the next few days.
The Pacific Ocean has high heat content (Sea Surface Temperature), thus, formation of tropical disturbance is possible during this season.
